GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.
Before the first day.
What ages can attend?
Camp serves ages 4 through middle school, with activities organized by age group.
Is this one camp or several locations?
Summer 2027 is one camp location at 5045 Soutel Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32208. RSU Houses are teams within camp, not separate campuses.
What are the dates and hours?
May 31–August 6, 2027. Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. May 31 is a soft opening, with the official opening June 1.
How do we register?
Register using our online form. Open the camp registration form → You can complete it right here on the website or open it in a separate tab.
What do tuition and registration cost?
Registration is $75 per child. Weekly tuition is $135 for one child. If enrolling more than one child, tuition is $110 per child per week. Activity fees and optional extras are additional; contact us for a full breakdown.
Will campers go to the pool?
Pool visits are planned Tuesday and Wednesday in Weeks 2–9, Thursday only in Week 1, and none in Week 10. Ask the camp team for final pool procedures and your child’s preparation list.
Are meals included?
Breakfast, lunch, and snack are part of the camp program. Pool and trip days may require a packed lunch; final instructions and optional pizza/ice cream details will be shared with families. Please tell us about allergies.
What makes camp different?
Nine electives, six RSU Houses, Campus Credits, weekly recognition, a camp podcast, creative technology, themed celebrations, and planned adventures all come together in one structured summer.
What should my child bring?
Ask for the current packing list. Plan for comfortable play clothes, appropriate shoes, a labeled water bottle, and any day-specific swim or field-trip items. Label personal belongings.
How do awards and points work?
Campers begin at zero Campus Credits. Staff recognize positive choices, participation, and leadership, and can deduct points for behavior concerns. Weekly and summer recognition celebrate growth and effort.
Where do QR badges stay?
Camper QR badges or wristbands are issued and collected by counselors daily and stored at camp.
Will there be a graduation?
A final-week celebration is planned with personalized camper diplomas and families invited. The exact date, time, and details will be announced.
CAMPER OF THE WEEK
A championship for character.
The Camper of the Week belt makes positive choices something to celebrate. We recognize leadership, a great attitude, helping others, participation, and improvement — alongside a weekly certificate that families can keep.
The belt is a reusable award and must be returned the following week for the next winner. Summer 2027 operates at one camp location on Soutel Drive.
