MORE THAN A PLACE TO SPEND SUMMER
A place to find
your spark.
Since 2017, Wilson’s Rising Stars Youth Academy has brought Jacksonville children together through structured activities, creative exploration, and positive encouragement.
In 2027, our campus comes alive as Rising Stars University (RSU): a college-inspired summer built around discovery, team spirit, and celebrating every camper.

THE INSPIRATION BEHIND RSU
A Different World.
Our different summer.
Our 2027 theme, Rising Stars University (RSU): “A Different Summer,” is inspired by the television show A Different World. We’re bringing that college-inspired spirit to camp through HBCU pride, friendship, discovery, leadership, and the belief that every child can imagine a bigger future.
From choosing electives like a college major to representing an RSU House, showing campus spirit, and celebrating growth, campers get their own age-appropriate introduction to a world of possibility.
